North KC, MO- Midwest Titans had an early divisional matchup with cross town rivals Sugar Creek Shockers and the Titans didn't hold back on the scoreboard with a 50-8 win.

 

Shockers was lead by quarterback Eric Hoskins 11-20-2-420 yards and 6 touchdowns.

 

Damond Berry lead all receivers with 4-145-3

and Josh Johnson with 3-120-1.

 

The Titans will hit the road the next two weeks. First stop will be in Waterloo, IA to battle the East Iowa Storm and the next bus trip will be to Ralston, NE to play the Omaha, NE.

Shawnee, KS- Kansas City Panthers has been waiting 7 months for this rematch with the Kansas Diamondbacks. This time this matchup would come down to the wire. 

 

Diamondbacks Offensive Coordinator Tyrone Jones called a pass play into his offensive and the KC Panthers defense had defensive set called and that defensive set worked and shut down the offensive move by Kansas by Interception and that interception gave the Panthers the 26-20 victory.

 

Panthers will be on the road this weekend to Council Bluffs, IA to play the Crusaders and next weekend they will have a league bye.
